About

This is my journey through the web future.0.  Topics I’ll discuss include social media, technology, lexicology and the English language, marine life, the environment. I’ll share my observations, opinions, and come up with some neat ideas you’ll like or dislike.  I’m putting it out here for you to take in, spar, agree or disagree.

Why my blog is called Red Knot Journey:

The Red Knot is the largest of the “peeps” in North America, and one of the most colorful.  It makes one of the longest yearly migrations of any bird, traveling 15,000 km (9,300 mi) from its Arctic breeding grounds to Tierra del Fuego in southern South America.  (Source: The Cornell Lab of Ornithology)

While I’m not a large “peep” in North America, I think of myself as one of the most colorful.  And like the Red Knot, I travel great lengths – literally and figuratively – to learn, listen, share, live.
